What it is

One Docker image, 22 containers, NFS storage, a remote PostgreSQL server with 41 databases and nginx in front. I ran the platform, moved 14 sites to a new domain with zero downtime, rebuilt SSL renewal with daily monitoring, and traced a silent scheduler failure into Odoo's server code and fixed it fleet-wide.

Highlights

  • Traced a fleet-wide scheduler failure to the Odoo framework and fixed it by switching to prefork workers
  • 42 SSL certificate renewals kept working, 29 dead ones retired, daily expiry monitoring
  • Found 20 containers serving development assets in production and fixed them
  • Restricted operator accounts scoped to specific containers
